Point of View (ongoing project)
Go to photography view Light falling through a window – corridors surrounding a concert hall – atmospheric lighting in the living room. Spatial impressions are captured in photographs that then serve as the basis for visual work. Their origins are domestic as well as public and cultural. They are not documentary images, but staged scenes. Elements in home spaces are removed or added; a bright flash besieges public spaces; carefully chosen viewpoints influence their reading.
The photographs and visual works come together in series that are never finished and change every exhibition. They form constellations without a clear beginning or end. Light, concealment and the plane form leitmotifs that are not always clearly delineated.
